It was a fairly simple process for us to come in and put a new natural rock wall in the place of the old one.

While the basic design of the retaining wall remained the same, we first had to remove the decaying wooden material of the old wall. Then, we had to excavate the soil to allow space for construction. The wooden privacy fence was then re-installed on top of the new retaining wall rock. Proper drainage is crucial to the effectiveness and sound structure of a retaining wall. These photos show the correct installation of drainage pipes. The result is a great looking retaining wall that will continue to function and add curb appeal for years.
